Customs Clearance & Delivery

TNT Air Cargo offers a range of customs clearance services through our Customs Department, and is fully computerized and provides for an efficient processing of entries. The compilers are fully conversant with the Harmonized Tariffs and the PNG governments import requirements. We have an electronic payment facility established with PNG Customs for the prompt settlement of import charges. With the electronic transfer of clearance documents by the originating locations and transit points in Australia, entries are compiled and lodged prior to flight arrival.

We strive to ensure that all related invoices for the delivery of import freight are presented as final delivery documentation. Import deliveries are monitored in our DMS tracking programme and POD details available in real time via our in-cab PUD (Pick Up and Delivery) tablets.
