Import Air Freight - Australia to PNG

Australia remains the single largest exporter of goods by airfreight into Papua New Guinea. In association with TNT Australia; TNT Air Cargo also remains the single largest import airfreight forwarder into PNG with cargo consolidations on the majority of services ex Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns.

TNT offers two services options for general cargo from Australia.

Express Freight "Door to Door"

This service covers door to door cargo from most Australian origins to ports within our PNG network for freight up to 60 kilos per consignment note.

Air Freight "Door to Airport"

The Door to Airport rates apply to shipments over 60 kilos in chargeable weight that fall outside the Express Freight guidelines. Freight charges include TNT Australia collection and export documentation fees and are rated to Port Moresby at the appropriate rate per kilo. The service is available ex all Australian states. Clearance & delivery charges, import duties, taxes and NAQIA charges (if applicable) are added to the import invoice generated by PNG Air Freight.
